After several witnesses reporting gunfire near the entrance to the Buffalo Wild Wings in Colonial Heights, police officials say that there were no shots fired. A spokesperson for the CHPD says that there was a large verbal altercation that took place, which prompted their response.

Witnesses inside the restaurant described a chaotic scene. They recounted hiding under tables and running out the back door into the woods because they believed shots were being fired at the front entrance.

One witness reported to Virginia Scope that someone in the restaurant yelled ‘he’s got a gun,” as the altercation was taking place. They say that they heard gunshots from the area near the front of the building, but police officials reported that no shots were fired.

CHPD says that no arrests were made at the scene.
