As there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel with several highly-effective vaccines becoming available soon, COVID-19 numbers continue to rise with the colder weather arriving to stay.
Here are the updated COVID-19 numbers:
Williamsburg has seen a total of 289 COVID-19 cases. 17 Williamsburg residents have been hospitalized due to COVID-19 and eight of those people died.
Williamsburg is currently seeing a seven-day average increase of one new case per day. The seven-day average of new daily cases among a population of 100,000 results in 5.8, which is 25 points below the statewide average.
