“Las Vegas has weighed in on the Virginia Cavaliers home game against the North Carolina Tar Heels on Halloween. The game is set to kickoff at 8:00 p.m. and will be televised on ACC Network.
According to oddsmakers, UVA opens as a 4-point underdog. UVA has won the last three matchups in the series, named the South’s Oldest Rivalry.”

The Good
- Winning. Look, it wasn’t great, I know, but winning is better than losing. And finding a way to win a game that Miami would likely have lost in most of the last few years has to be good. And I’m always gonna call a win good, even if there are things that I don’t love about it.
- Miami sprinted out of the gate. How fast? A 2 play TD drive that took 28 seconds. Mike Harley hit this nasty sluggo and King dropped the ball in the bucket for the score.

A closer look at Miami QB D’Eriq King’s elite performance vs. Virginia

“Miami Hurricanes quarterback D’Eriq King balled out on Saturday night during a 19-14 win over Virginia. King completed 21-of-30 passes for 322 yards with one touchdown while rushing for 27 yards on 14 carries. It was arguably King’s best performance at Miami as he found a rhythm in the deep passing game.
“According to Pro Football Focus, King connected on 6-of-8 passes that traveled at least 20 yards past the line of scrimmage. Those passes went for 187 yards and one touchdown. Coming into the Virginia game, King had completed six deep passes on the season.“
