Henrico fire crews responded Friday afternoon to a report of a structure fire on the 8800 block of Three Chopt road.
The first crews on the scene reported smoke showing from a multi-apartment building.
Once crews made it inside, they encountered heavy smoke, but no active fire.
Sources say that there is moderate fire damage and that a fire marshall was requested.
